Aer Lingus drama continues
It’s Wednesday, Dublin.
☀ High 18C. Low 9C
Good morning Dublin. There won’t be any major rain today. Also, Met Éireann reported that this was the coldest June since 2015. Things are not looking good and we may not get any summer this year.
Fingers crossed.

A 41-year-old Canadian tourist, Neno Dolmajian from Montreal, died in a Dublin hospital after being assaulted on O'Connell Street on 23 June.
He sustained serious injuries and was treated at the Mater Hospital, where he passed away this afternoon, with his family by his side.
Four people were arrested in connection with the attack. Two men, Ionut Danca (24) and Madalin Ghiuzan (23), have been charged with assault causing harm. Both suspects, with Dublin addresses, were denied bail and remain in custody following their court appearance at the Dublin District Court.

The Labour Court is set to formally intervene in a pay dispute between Aer Lingus and its pilots after more than eight hours of talks.
A formal hearing will take place on Wednesday, with a recommendation to follow. The dispute, which has led to nearly 400 flight cancellations, centers around pay increases. Pilots, represented by the Irish Air Line Pilots' Association (Ialpa), initially demanded a 24% raise but have since indicated willingness to accept less.
Aer Lingus has offered 12.25% with conditions. Both sides are under pressure to resolve the conflict before further summer travel disruptions.

It is a little ironic to see an all-you-can-eat buffet right beside the Irish famine exhibition, but it might be a deal for the right person. This temporary exhibition will run till Sept 30th, so you have time.
