Tour of Recovered War Voices or a Watercolour Event?

It’s Friday

☀ High 19C and Low 11C. No Rain ☀

Finally, it is a Friday. Are you excited about the weekend?

Here’s my plan:

Sleep.

That’s it.

And I might go watch Deadpool vs Wolverine - not sure yet.

Oh, have you order a customised letter for your kid yet? The letter includes a fun dose of Irish history, and is customised with your kid’s name. Delivered by post. It is a real letter in this digital age.

This letter helps us run this email service, please order if you can from here.

Here’s a sample:

WHAT TO DO THIS WEEKEND

There’s a free guided tour of the Recovered Voices in World War- an exhibition, organised by National Museum of Ireland.

Explore fascinating histories of Irish soldiers fighting in World War I.

100% free to attend, no booking is required either. For more information, contact [email protected] or call 01 648 6453.

I will recommend calling first - as it is free, it gets booked first - even though they say no booking is required.

Not interested in history? How about a Watercolour workshop with Jen O'Brien at Chester Beatty, Dublin during National Heritage Week?

Happening this Saturday from 2pm to 4pm.

Unfortunately, this is not free. Entry is 25eur. All included in the fee. You have to book here.

There’s also a Kilo sale happening in Dublin this Sunday, details here.

NEWS OF THE DAY

  • Research found that couples earning €107k can only afford homes in certain counties. Here.

  • A number of businesses closed (including a city center pub) for health hazard. Details here.

Have a fun day. We chat tomorrow.

Thanks, Khalid.
