Zipit in Tibradden Wood | A Fun Dayout For Kids

It’s Thursday

☀ High 19C and Low 9C. Rain ☀

My newsfeed was flooded yesterday with people catching Aurora from everywhere. I even saw some people got a glimpse from Lucan.

Unfortunately, I saw nothing (as always).

Have you order a customised letter for your kid? The letter includes a fun dose of Irish history, and is customised with your kid’s name. Delivered by post. It is a real letter in this digital age.

This letter helps us run this email service, please order if you can from here.

Here’s a sample of last month’s one:

ACTIVITY OF THE DAY

Zipit Forest Adventures is fantastic for a fun-filled, environmentally friendly, family day. And yes, most people don’t know that they have a Dublin one too.

Bring your mini adventure lovers and experience the excitement of challenging, adrenaline-fueled activities in the treetops.

Trained instructors provide assistance and encouragement and help you overcome all the challenges. Climb high up into the trees, ride a BMX bike across a suspended bridge, swing into cargo nets, balance on a rope and if you're feeling brave, try the base jump.

After your action-packed day, relax with a well earned treat and delicious coffee at the café and relive all the exciting activities with your friends and family. Pre-booking is advised to ensure availability.

Tickets are unfortunately not cheap. Adult tickets are 42eur, kids tickets vary from 25-35 depending on age.

I looked for discounts and deals - but they only seem to offer discount during off-season.

NEWS OF THE DAY

  • Garda detective allegedly left firearm in Dublin city centre store changing rooms while out shopping. What a world we live in. Details here.

  • Property price increases by 8.6% compared to this time last year. Details here.

Have a fun day. We chat tomorrow.

Thanks, Khalid.
